This Privacy Policy explains how ChatGPT VPN (referred to as 'this Service' or 'we') handles personal information when you use the mobile application (referred to as 'the App'). We provide the service under principles of necessity, transparency, and security, and protect your privacy within the scope of this policy.

When you download, launch, or use the App, we may collect information necessary to operate the service, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, in-app access paths, crash logs, and usage duration. To recommend suitable nodes and improve connection quality, we may process approximate device location information. This data is used for: 1. Geolocation services: recommending a suitable route based on ChatGPT VPN's node distribution; 2. Performance optimization: identifying regional connection quality through anonymized aggregate data; 3. Service notices: sending necessary security, account, or service-change notices through your reserved email or username.

We only transmit aggregated or anonymized data to necessary third-party service providers, such as Google Play Services and Firebase, for crash analysis, performance monitoring, and feature improvement. Except in the following cases, we do not share personally identifiable information: 1. Compliance with valid legal process or regulatory requirements; 2. Protection of users, the public, or platform security; 3. Cooperation with service providers bound by confidentiality obligations for necessary operations. To stop data collection, uninstall the App through your device standard process; after uninstallation, the App will no longer generate new operational data.

User-provided data is retained during the service period and for a reasonable retention period afterward. The App is not intended for minors under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from that group; if such data is discovered, we will delete it as soon as practicable.
